got the role!

I got the role of filipyevna! well actually its the cover. The main role was taken by a phd student. But its great to be involved in a quarter million pound production and of course its Tchaikovsky! Will have a cover showing on the 23rd march. The concert in kl is going ahead. Wanted to have a concert in kl so my gran will get a chance to hear me sing and was planning to rent a hall etc when her church asked if I would sing for a fund raising concert instead. Seemed the right thing to do over the Christmas period and my grandparents had worshiped there for over half a century. A friend put me in touch with a pianist there (Wong chee Yean) and he in turn suggested a soprano that he knows who studied in Italy. So looks like its full steam ahead.
